Requirements

Cobra License-Free Two-Way Radios (FRS), (USA/CAN) Marine Radios (VHF), and CB Radios (HF) do not require any additional setup and are ready to go right out of the box.

FRS, (USA/CAN) Marine, and CB radios are not compatible with the Cobra Programming Software.

Cable Requirements

The Cobra Radio Programming Cable (USB-C to USB-A) is needed to physically connect to the radio to the computer.

Performa LMR radios only require programming the first radio, then if you so choose you can use the instructions in the Performa Manual to clone the settings to all other radios over the air (OTA).

Software Compatibility

Performa LMR

Land Mobile Radios require an FCC Registered Number and an FCC License to use.

TrailBlazer GMRS

General Mobile Radio Service requires an FCC License to use.

Downloads

The Cobra Programming Software downloads available here are only for the Performa LMR and the TrailBlazer GMRS radios. No other Cobra radio is compatible.
