Changing Channels
Manual Page 7
Turn the channel knob clockwise or counterclockwise (anticlockwise) to select channels available to you. Your administrator may only have licensed a single channel for your company's exclusive use; check if they have assigned privacy codes to segment out the channel for multiple use cases. See Privacy Codes in the Manual for more information.
Performa 450 Only If your radio administrator has enabled Weather Mode, tuning below your lowest available channel or above your highest available channel will tune the handset to Weather radio, which will automatically tune to the strongest weather radio broadcast channel in the area. You must be on this channel to receive weather reports, but you do not need to be on this channel to receive Weather Alerts if they are enabled on your handset. Weather Alerts will break through on any channel.
