Cancel or Refund paid app subscriptions
All app subscriptions are created, billed, and managed through your phone or device's app store (either Google Play or Apple App Store, depending on your device type.) This applies to our apps Drive Smarter, Escort Live, and iRadar.
While we are unable to assist with subscription management for any app (including cancellations or refunds) which must be done from your phone's app store, for your convenience we've put together a short guide below for how to accomplish this for both types of devices you may have. Simply click to expand the steps for your device.
Android Devices (Google Play Store)
Cancel a Subscription
- Find and open the Google Play app on your device
- Tap your profile picture in the top-right corner of the screen.
- Select Payments & subscriptions from the menu that appears.
- Tap Subscriptions to view your active and expired subscriptions
- Select the subscription you wish to cancel.
- Tap Cancel subscription and follow the on-screen instructions, which may include selecting a reason for canceling, and tap Cancel subscription again to confirm.
Request a Refund
- Find and open the Google Play app on your device
- Tap your profile picture in the top-right corner of the screen.
- Select Payments & subscriptions and Budget & history.
- Locate the app, game, or in-app purchase for which you want a refund.
- Click or tap on the order and select the option for "Report a problem".
- Select a reason and click "Submit" to send your refund request.
iOS Devices (iPhone/iPad, Apple Store)
Cancel a Subscription
- Open the Settings app on your device
- Tap your name at the top.
- Tap Subscriptions.
- Tap the subscription you wish to cancel.
- Scroll down and tap Cancel Subscription.
Request a Refund
- Open a web browser on your device
- Go to https://reportaproblem.apple.com
- Sign in with the Apple ID and password you used to make the purchase.
- From the dropdown menu, choose "I'd like to" and then choose "Request a refund" from the next menu.
- Choose the reason for your refund request (there should be one similar to "app no longer a subscription service".)
- Select the app or subscription you wish to receive a refund for.
- Click Submit to send your request.
