iRadar has been Discontinued
Users should switch to our Drive Smarter app for continued functionality. If you have a compatible detector (as listed below) and were already using iRadar, simply log in to Drive Smarter with the same email and password as you were using with iRadar. If your detector comes up as already registered, please reach out to us with one of the contact methods below and give us your serial number (printed on the bottom; see the list for common serial identifiers) so that we can clear it for you to register it again.
If you attempt to register and you receive an error message, please reach out to us with a screenshot of the error message so that we can assist you further.

Compatible Radar Detector Models
The following models of detectors are compatible with the Drive Smarter app with Bluetooth connectivity. Serial numbers begin with the alphanumeric characters in the parenthesis.
- Cobra RAD700i (AB1P)
- Cobra RAD490i (BA5P)
- Cobra RAD480i (BA1P)
- Cobra Road Scout (1P)
- Cobra Dual Pro 360 (1N)
Other serial number series may exist, but compatibility cannot be assured. Cobra Road Scout is compatible only for Detector settings. Camera settings require the use of the Drive HD companion app. Drive HD by Cobra may not be compatible with newer phones. Download (Google Play | Apple App Store)
Using Drive Smarter as a Companion App
Many of our radar detectors do not have a Bluetooth module, or do not have a module compatible with Drive Smarter, however you can still take advantage of the Drive Smarter services by opening the app as you're driving. The subscription to the Drive Smarter app offers a number of features such as access to our Community Alerts and Community Radar, along with Defender Alerts.
For changing settings or real-time alerts, your detector will function as normal from the box. Please consult your manual to see how to adjust the settings directly on the detector.
