When the screen freezes on your handset, pairing has been lost to the transceiver or ‘black box’.  To restore the connection, plug your handset into the black box USB port, then power ON the handset and wait for the handset to enter CB radio standby mode.  This connection automatically sets up Bluetooth pairing between the handset and black box.  Once paired, the Handset can be disconnected from the black box USB jack and powered through another power source inside your vehicle (via the USB or the supplied 12V adapter) and will remain connected to the black box.
