Yes, an antenna system is required to use and operate your 19 MINI CB. 

Cobra offers Antenna options that can be purchased for use with the 19 Mini CB.  They include the 4’ Fiber Glass Antenna (Model #CA-4FTBL), 4-foot Super Flex Antenna (Model #CA-FLX401), the 18-inch Magnetic Mount Antenna (Model #HG A1000), and the 42-inch Magnetic Mount (Model #HG A1500).  These can be found on Cobra.com or you can contact our Customer Care Group at 800-543-1608 if you need help or have questions.
