With the factory default setup, the CDR 810 will automatically start recording video when it is turned on.  Turn start or stop video recording, press the REC button (front chrome button).  The video LED will flash to indicating recording mode.

You can choose whether to also record audio by pressing the MIC button (front chrome button).  The mic LED will illuminate to show when audio is being recorded.
