Yes, an antenna system is required to use and operate your 19 MINI AM/FM CB. 

Cobra offers Antenna options that can be purchased for use with the 19 MINI AM/FM CB.  They include the 4’ Fiber Glass Antenna (Model #CA-4FTBL), 4-foot Super Flex Antenna (Model #CA-FLX401), the 18-inch Magnetic Mount Antenna (Model #HG A1000), and the 42-inch Magnetic Mount (Model #HG A1500).  These can be found on Cobra.com or you can contact our Customer Care Group at 800-543-1608 if you need help or have questions.
