I cannot get my phone to pair with the radio

  1. Make sure your cell phone has Bluetooth!
  2. When asked for a passcode, enter “0000”.
  3. For help with your phone, please contact your cell provider.

Voice dialing does not work

In order to work, your phone must have voice dialing.

I get noisy / lousy reception when using Bluetooth

When using Bluetooth, you are still subject to noise, echoing, and dropped calls which are inherent with cell phones. For best results, place your phone in a location where it will get good reception from the cell tower.

If you experience echoing, then try turn the volume down on the radio. If the echoing persists, then most likely it is due to a poor connection with the cell tower.

People complain that they hear an echo

Sound from the speaker may be bleeding into the Bluetooth microphone. Try turning down the volume on the radio. If the echoing continues, then most likely it is due to a poor phone connection with the cell tower.

People cannot hear me

In the lower-right area of the microphone there is a small hole. This is the Bluetooth microphone. Here is a picture:

People say I sound weak

If you speak too far from the microphone, then you will sound weak. For best audio quality please speak close to the microphone, just as if you are talking on the CB. You will need to speak within a few inches of the Bluetooth microphone.

Also, be sure not to accidentally cover the Bluetooth microphone (see above).
